July 12, 2010

A Sheriff in Las Cruces got an interesting call last week…it appeared there had been foul play. A 47 year old man was standing on the side of the road with his leg on fire. The man was rushed to the hospital where they found burns all over his right butt cheek and across his

Out of Finland … Oh Mummy!
About 20 years ago a man that we will call Fred disappeared from a small Finnish town. Fred had a somewhat questionable past, but nothing to make someone think he had been murdered. So in 2000 they just declared him a dead Fred, but on Monday they found out exactly

Day of Silence, Day of Silliness

April 15, 2010

Once again the Holiday known as the “Day of Silence” is upon us here in Snoqualmie and other screwed up cities across America. For those of you lucky enough to have never heard of the “Day of Silence”, let me bring you a little closer to the edge of common sense.
“The National Day of Silence

Out of Texas … An Unholy War
The good book says when confrontation strikes, you should not…you should turn the other cheek. Well Father John Parnell of the Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Fort Worth must have missed that passage. Just ask a Jehovah witness that stopped by his parsonage last week.

Warner Brothers Deal Further Decreases Netflix Value

April 4, 2010

I can’t imagine that Netflix is happy.  Since Netflix and competitor Redbox are the lowest profit distribution points for studios, Warner Brothers have “struck a deal” (carrot/bribe or stick/threat – do you think?) so that Netflix will not offer DVDs for rental until 28 days after they go on sale.
